Delete Your TeamWave Account
TeamWave is operated by Sark Labs LLC. This page explains how to delete your TeamWave account and what happens to your data.
Delete your account from the app
- Open the TeamWave app and sign in.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account is deleted immediately.
If you own a league: deleting your account also deletes every league you own, along with its teams, schedules, rosters, and team chats. Transfer ownership first if you want the league to continue.
Prefer to email us?
If you can't access the app, email privacy@teamwave.app from the address on your TeamWave account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your name, email address, and profile
- Your chat messages, and your players' photos
- Your family's player profiles — including names, birthdates, addresses, and emergency contacts — when no other guardian remains linked to them
- Your RSVPs, read receipts, and notification token
- Any leagues you own, and all teams, seasons, games, rosters, and chats within them
What is kept, and for how long
- Players still linked to another guardian stay in the app so the remaining parent keeps access to their child's schedule. Your own link to them is removed.
- Players on a team you don't own remain on that league's roster, which belongs to the league owner. Contact the league owner to have the player removed.
- Payment records for dues already paid are retained by the league and by our payment processor, Stripe, where financial record-keeping laws require it — typically up to 7 years. These records are not used for any other purpose.
- Chat media (photos, video clips, voice notes) is automatically deleted 90 days after it is posted, whether or not you delete your account.
- Backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
